Funding of activities in clean coal technology
A series of reports have been produced and updated on an annual basis over a three year period. These reports were produced for
the UK Department of Trade and Industry which distributes them through the Energy Technology Support Unit as well as the World Aid
Section and Trade Associations, as part of a series covering programmes, projects and activities of major international aid agencies,
development banks and other organisations, related to clean technologies for the utilisation of coal. The purpose is to bring business
opportunities to the attention of potential beneficiaries, that is UK companies. These reports cover the mandate, policies and
activities for all organisations that might provide funds for developing environmentally favourable technology for using cola as an
energy source. In addition they contain summaries of recent and on-going energy related programmes and projects, as well as details
of information source, contact points, key policy documents and other background information. For ease of cross reference all reports
have a similar content covering the organisation, energy policies, funding, energy programmes and projects, with appended material
on contacts and information sources. Within the extensive series of reports, CPL Scientific, has contributed reports on the following
organisations between 1997 and 1999:
European Commission and the European Investment Bank
European Bank for Reconstruction and Development
Commonwealth Development Corporation
